At Fairbuilt Guitar Shop , we offer repair services for most stringed instruments including guitars, banjos, mandolins, and the violin family. Authorized Repair Center since 1995, working on Martin guitars is substantial part of our business. All the work is done by myself or Stuart Orser, who has worked with me since 2006, or Susan Keeney, who has been doing bow rehairing and mostly violin work. The shop is located next to my house, which is the last driveway on the left off of Bittersweet Lane (gravel). Follow the road up through the woods disregarding "no one allowed beyond this point" signs. Its about 3/4 of a mile from Harpers Ferry Road (Route 671). All the driveways on Bittersweet are marked with numbers. Ours is 37236, the last fork to the left. The road can be rough at times and a vehicle with taller ground clearance is recommened but not absolutely neccesarry. If there is snow or ice, a 4x4 may be required.
